It has become a pretty recurring thing for Omega to release new models, or at least new editions of existing watches, with very little or no fanfare. While this has happened in the Planet Ocean and Speedmaster collections, it’s mostly the Aqua Terra family that sees these discreet releases dropping regularly. Based on the two largest versions of the Aqua Terra 150m Shades, the main novelty concerns the dial. The dial reveals a bright turquoise colour in the centre, with a darker effect on the periphery. The hands, triangular applied markers, date frame window and applied logo, have a heavy contrast and are coated in dark grey PVD, together with white Super-LumiNova. The date disc is also dark-coloured.
As with the rest of the best clone Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Shades watches, these two new Turquoise versions are worn on a slim bracelet with short, rounded links, closed by a folding clasp with comfort release. A screw-in crown and screwed back guarantee a solid 150m water-resistance. This more advanced automatic movement features 2 barrels, with a 60h power reserve, as well as a practical time zone function for the hour hand. It’s also Master Chronometer, highly resistant to magnetism and regulated by a co-axial escapement.
